Yes. An unvented cylinder has its own annual safety check, separate from a boiler service, we inspect the temperature and pressure relief valves, the expansion vessel, the tundish and discharge pipework, and confirm everything's operating safely. This work is controlled under Building Regulations (Part G3) and can only legally be carried out by a suitably qualified engineer, so it isn't something every plumber can offer — we're G3 certified, which means we can check, service and repair unvented systems properly. It's a separate job to the boiler service, but we're happy to do both in the same visit and give you a price for each.
