What a proper service covers
We check the boiler is operating safely and efficiently: inspecting the main components, running flue gas analysis to confirm correct combustion, cleaning key parts, replacing the burner seal where needed, and checking the system for water or gas leaks — then confirming it’s running as it should.
How long it should take
Done properly, a service takes a fair bit longer than most people expect — there are real checks and cleaning involved, not just a visual once-over.
Red flags of a rushed service
If someone’s in and out in ten minutes with no analyser and no cover off, you haven’t had a service — you’ve had a look. That won’t satisfy a warranty and won’t catch a developing fault.
What it costs
Our boiler service starts from £80 + VAT, with any parts agreed with you first. It keeps your warranty valid and helps catch small issues before they become breakdowns.
